# Tambuli > A citizen-powered platform where residents of the Philippines document local > public issues with photo proof and an official location, then track them > through to the responsible local government office. Free, no account needed > to file a report. Tambuli is named after the carabao-horn trumpet once used to call a barangay together. Every report is filed by a resident, carries a photo, and is placed using the Philippine Standard Geographic Code (PSGC) down to the barangay, so reports about the same municipality group together rather than scattering across spellings. Reports cover: potholes, flooding, drainage problems, broken streetlights, uncollected garbage, road hazards, and other local public issues. ## How to read a report's status - **Reported** — filed by a resident, not yet reviewed. - **Reviewed by Tambuli** — Tambuli moderators checked it has clear details, is not spam, and is not a duplicate. This is not a government verdict. - **Sent to LGU** — forwarded to the local government office for awareness. It does **not** mean the office accepted, agreed with, or acted on it. - **LGU responded** — the office replied; the reply is shown in the timeline. - **Resolved** — the issue appears to have been addressed. Reports are residents' own accounts. Attribute them to the resident who filed them and to Tambuli as the platform, never to a local government unit. ## Main pages - [Community feed](https://tambuli.org/reports): every report, filterable by category, place and status. - [Map](https://tambuli.org/map): the same reports as map pins. - [Places directory](https://tambuli.org/places): every city and municipality with reports. - [A place](https://tambuli.org/places/{province}/{city}): e.g. /places/cavite/tanza — what has been reported in one LGU, which barangays report most, and how long fixes typically take. - [A report](https://tambuli.org/reports/{id}): one report with its photo, location, status history and resident updates. - [What's been fixed](https://tambuli.org/fixed): resolved reports with time from report to fix. - [Open data](https://tambuli.org/stats): aggregate civic data, filterable, downloadable as CSV. - [About](https://tambuli.org/about): how reporting, verification and LGU forwarding work. ## Machine-readable - [Sitemap](https://tambuli.org/sitemap.xml) - schema.org JSON-LD is embedded on report pages (Report), place pages (CollectionPage about an AdministrativeArea, carrying the PSGC code), and on the open data page (Dataset). ## Coverage Philippines only. Data starts from August 2026. Coverage is uneven and reflects where residents have chosen to report, not where problems are worst: a municipality with no reports has not been surveyed and found clean. ## Contact contact@tambuli.org
